Corporate and Foundation Relations

Corporations and foundations play an important role at The University of Iowa. From hiring talented students and alumni to supporting cutting edge research and programs, partnerships with industry and private funders are critical to our continued success.

The University of Iowa Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) organization that was founded in 1956 to help the University meet needs beyond those provided for by state support. Our UI Foundation's Corporate and Foundation Relations (CFR) team seeks to establish and advance relationships with corporations and foundations that result in philanthropic benefit for The University of Iowa.

To assure that the UI can continue to fulfill its mission of excellence in education, research, and service, we rely on private support from individuals and organizations that share our commitment to quality.

In addition to our work in securing philanthropic support, the CFR team can connect corporate and foundation representatives with valuable on-campus recruiting, research, and small-business solutions. Our team also can provide assistance to faculty and staff who are seeking private support.
