How You Can Help
International Programs (IP) leads the University of Iowa's efforts to meet the increasingly international challenges of the 21st century. Each year more than 1,200 UI students study abroad in over 70 countries. Almost 2,300 international students and scholars representing more than 100 nations annually come to The University of Iowa to learn.
The following funds support the top priorities of International Programs:
International Opportunity Fund
Funds from the unrestricted International Opportunity Fund support international opportunities on the UI campus that increase student awareness of international issues, enrich course offerings, enhance student and faculty research opportunities, and continue IP's tradition of state-wide outreach.
Study Abroad Scholarship Fund
Supports scholarships for undergraduate, graduate, and professional students for study and research abroad.
International Student Scholarship Fund
Supports international students studying at The University of Iowa.
