On Friday, May 6, 2011, University of Iowa Health Care and the UI Foundation launched the public phase of Iowa First: Our Campaign for Breakthrough Medicine at a kickoff gala on the UI campus. During the multimedia event, which included several speakers and related live performances, four videos were shown that helped tell the story of the need for and the impact of the Iowa First campaign.
